Constance M. Cook is completing her second year of doctoral studies in music education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she is privileged to be a Teaching Associate.She is on leave from her position teaching music to 13 kindergarten classes and grades 1/2 music. She holds an MA in Critical and Creative Thinking from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and a BM and a music teaching license from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is a singer and instrumentalist in folk duo Little Blue Heron which makes music with children and adults. She writes poetry when she has time!
