Teri Arvesú is the SVP for Social Impact and Sustainability working to develop and implement strategies that positively influence society through the company's content, employee and community engagement initiatives for TelevisaUnivision. 

She oversees the company's social impact strategy, which includes diversity, equity and inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, ESG reporting, non-profit partnerships and corporate philanthropy. She also serves as President of the Univision Foundation. 

She is a bilingual and bicultural media and communications executive with 25 years of experience in storytelling across platforms to achieve strategic business results and positive social impact. She has won 14 Emmy Awards, received Edward R Murrow, Lisagor and Studs Terkel. 

She has spent her +25 career serving the Hispanic community in the United States running newsroom in Miami and Chicago. She is considered strong advocate of journalism, the use of media for education and empowerment as well as pluralism & representation in media. Under her leadership Univision Chicago became the first Spanish language television station in that market to be awarded the Emmy for Best Evening Newscast. In 2021, for the first time ever achieved the #1 rated early and late news regardless of language in Chicago. She lead efforts to launch Telemundo national morning news, local and weekend newscast; For Univision she launched Chicago's am show, midday and weekend political shows. She has extensive experience in producing federal, state and local debates for the Spanish language community in Miami and Chicago. 

She founded a fellowship with DePaul and the McCormick Foundation to train high school and college Latinos interested in media and in 2015 launched the first Chicago radio show for bilingual millennials by bilingual millennials. She is the Executive Producer of 3 documentaries. 

Much of her career Teri has been asked to launch new content efforts across media platforms and has a keen sensibility to forge partnerships that maximize opportunities for all stakeholders.
