Bio

Joella Wind currently serves as Group Vice President, Sales Operations and Enablement for Spectrum Enterprise.  In this role, she supports the achievement of business growth and revenue goals, driving results through shaping go-to-market strategies, optimizing processes and sales tools, and supporting the advancement of the sales teams.  She leads the major functional areas of Sales Planning, Sales Support, Sales Science, and Sales Enablement & National Events, which are inclusive of several critical management areas including sales distribution strategy, deal capture and management, sales tools and processes, and major projects.

Joella joined Time Warner Cable in 2003 to create and lead its Syracuse, NY based Business Services Team.   Her experience in leading teams of professional sales personnel selling complex voice and data services to businesses throughout the Northeast was instrumental as the Central New York Division was repeatedly recognized for outstanding achievements.  She led that organization through its company’s trial for the development and launch of Business Class Phone and Business Class PRI before the company launched those services throughout the footprint.

As the company restructured, Joella was selected to lead the Commercial Product Management and Marketing team for the East Region.  Her team focused on standardizing products and evaluating pricing and processes across the Region, while bringing to market new products targeted for large businesses, most notably the launch of HD Video Solutions for the Hospitality and Healthcare markets, and Cloud Services in the fall of 2012.  After a national restructure, Joella was chosen to lead the Voice and Video Product Management teams. They continued focus on standardization across the footprint while they launched SIP trunks, and drove bundling to an accelerated level, seeing Business Class Phone past its 1,000,000th line installed in 2015.

After the acquisition of Time Warner Cable by Charter Communications in May, 2016, Joella lead the Enterprise Custom Solutions team in the Spectrum Enterprise product organization.  Her broad knowledge of the product lines, combined with her sales background, proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple organizations, and tremendous business acumen made her a perfect fit for the role.  Her team supported the product, marketing and sales teams through Special Pricing, Product, and contract term solutions to capture additional revenue opportunities, and development of customer incentives in the form of promotions and sales tools.

In July, 2018, Joella was chosen for a role in Stamford, CT, leading the Sales Planning organization within Enterprise Sales Operations team.  Once again, her versatility and experience, and breadth of organizational knowledge was instrumental as she proved to be a transformational contributor to the build and delivery of critical sales initiatives including market strategy, compensation design, sales process optimization and tool enhancements.

Prior to Time Warner Cable, Joella spent 10 years with Verizon in roles of increasing leadership responsibility in the operations, marketing and sales arenas.  She left Verizon to lead a marketing team in a start-up call center software firm with its engineering base in Ireland, before moving back to Central New York to work in product management for Phillips Broadband Networks.

Joella graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Optical Engineering and completed her MBA in Corporate Finance from Drexel University.  She was active with the Girl Scouts for many years, and served on the Board of Directors of CenterState CEO, and Board of Trustees of Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, NY.  She is a WICT BMLI Class of 31 graduate, and Mentoring Program Lead for the Spectrum Enterprise Women’s Leadership Development Initiative.  She, and her husband, John, have twin daughters and she works out of the Stamford, CT office.
