Kerry Brockhage serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Counsel, Content Distribution, and is the primary legal counsel for the distribution of NBCUniversal’s content with all cable, satellite, and telco partners, digital MVPDs, and emerging OTT platforms. In this role, Brockhage spearheads the legal strategy for both linear and digital distribution of one of the largest programming portfolios in the industry, consisting of top-rated cable networks; Bravo, CNBC, E!, Golf Channel, Sprout, Syfy, NBCSN, UNIVERSO, MSNBC, Oxygen and USA, NBC and Telemundo owned stations, Regional Sports Networks, and the Olympics. Additionally, Brockhage negotiates and structures agreements involving NBCUniversal’s TV Everywhere (TVE) and on demand offering.
Most recently, Brockhage oversaw the legal activity for extensive carriage agreements with a number of top distributors, including Charter Spectrum, AT&T DirecTV and Dish Network, as well as comprehensive deals to distribute the company’s live streaming and on demand offering with new digital players, including YouTube TV, DirecTV Now, Sling TV, Sony Playstation Vue, fuboTV and Layer3 TV.
Brockhage also played a critical role in securing NASCAR carriage agreements in time for their 2015 debut on NBC SN, and was an active participant in the distribution deal-making to support NBCUniversal’s successful coverage of the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games. In addition, Brockhage collaborated to develop a strategy in laying the groundwork for the launch of TV Everywhere and played a critical role in securing significant deals to grant both on demand and linear TV Everywhere rights to NBCUniversal’s portfolio of networks.
Brockhage reports to Matt Bond, Chairman, Content Distribution, and Kimberley Harris, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for NBCUniversal.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal in 2011, Brockhage served as Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs for A&E Networks and Lifetime Entertainment Services.

Brockhage graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned a law degree at UC Hastings College of the Law. She resides in New York City.
